Urban Kibbutz Social Change program is an amazing new opportunity coming this fall - September 2019.
Come live for four months in an urban kibbutz - a communal framework in an urban setting - in the beautiful city of Haifa. Participants will be a part of a community, learn Hebrew, and meet and work with their Israeli neighbors! The internships in which the participants will work are based on meeting a challenge that Israeli society poses today, and finding a response that will create a more just society. These internships include a research fellowship focused on improving the city of Haifa, joining a labor union newspaper staff to pioneer its new English edition, working with an activist organization fighting to end modern genocide in the world, and teaching in an innovative new high school, employing new philosophies of education including project based, experiential learning! Our participants will be able to take their experiences with them when they finish the program, and strengthen their own communities when they return home!
The program is designed for young adults, between the ages of 20 to 30. If you are interested in coming to live, work, and be a part of new innovative projects in Israel, come join us this September!
